Unpaid media coverage is an important and critical aspect of TOTA's marketing activities. It has proven to be the most cost effective and efficient marketing tools we have in raising consumer awareness of the region as a travel destination.
TOTA's media relations strategy is to establish relationships with those writers, journalists, publications and other outlets that match our target markets and to encourage and support their coverage of the region.
Depending on the need, TOTA media support can include itinerary development, fact-checking, information sourcing, story idea pitching, complete hosting or allowing media to research the destination on a self-directed basis.
Below is a sampling of coverage that is the result of our efforts along with member and partner support! Please check back regularly for updates, you'll be amazed at the scope and range of our media coverage.
