Welcome to Silver Star, where we have been running our chairlift for mountain biking since 1991, holding world-class events since our World Cup DH/XC in 1994, and have been blazing a trail in the mountain bike industry ever since.

Check out why Silver Star is famous: play on our great trails! There’s everything from gnarly single track to scenic paved paths that wind peacefully through the sub-alpine forest.

The Comet Six Pack Express is Canada’s largest mountain bike lift, taking bikers to 1,600 vertical feet of great riding terrain. The high-speed detachable lift is fitted with roll-on bike carriers and has a ride-time of just 7.5 minutes. Grab your bike from the ever-so-friendly lift attendant, strap on your armour, and get ready for action.

If biking is not for you, try a nature tour, go for a hike and take a picnic, come and enjoy the Okanagan Summer Wine Festival and many other events we host, or just relax. There is always something happening at this world-class resort.

Hiking

Take Canada's largest mountain bike lift the Comet Six Pack Express, or our Summit Chair, to the top of Silver Star Mountain where you can enjoy spectacular views of the Monashee Mountain Range and the Okanagan Valley below. Look for various species of animals and flowers while you peacefully walk through the wilderness. Take a picnic lunch to the top then wander down one of the many scenic walking paths to the village or catch the Summit Chair back to the village.
