Sorrento Centre

Nestled in a park-like setting on the south shore of Shuswap Lake, Sorrento Centre combines stunning natural beauty with a year-round state of the art conference and retreat facility. For over 40 years Sorrento Centre has offered a gathering place for people of all ages. Whether for a time of learning, fun or contemplation, for three hours or several days, we invite your group to enjoy our affordable meeting facilities, lodges and camping, and our staff’s fine hospitality and program support.

Nova Vita Lodge and Caritas Lodge can accommodate 50 - 60 people. 14 cabanas can house 90 people, with trailer and tent sites that can accommodate another 120.

Our Food Services staff specializes in fine home style meals, catering to both group and individual needs. They are flexible in accommodating varied menus, and can provide meals for groups from 10 to 200.

Meeting facilities include internet access, a modern 100 person conference room with LCD projector DVD/VCR hookup, sound system and piano and a 50 person seminar room with TV/DVD/VCR and piano. A neighbouring hall for 180 can be arranged for larger groups. Outdoor facilities include an outdoor chapel, a Kekuli (a covered amphitheatre / campfire circle), games area, private beach, nature trails and gardens through an historic orchard property. Places for quite contemplation include our Memorial Garden and labyrinth.
