Sun Peaks Resort

Sun Peaks Resort, located in British Columbia, Canada, is a special place. From alpine bowls to perfectly groomed cruisers to gladed steeps loaded with powder Sun Peaks has something to offer everyone on one of its three mountains. Getting to the top this year is also that much easier with the addition of a new quad chairlift on Tod Mountain.

Over the past 14 years, close to half a billion dollars has been invested transforming Sun Peaks into an expansive yet intimate, world class resort destination. Now with 121 runs covering 3,678 acres of diverse terrain makes Sun Peaks Canada's third largest ski area all centred around a charming ski in ski out village.

Away from the slopes Sun Peaks has a large number of shops, restaurants, and accommodations to suit all tastes. Winter activities for the whole family are also abundant with a year round heated outdoor pool, ice skating, horse drawn sleigh rides, cross country skiing, and dog sledding to name just a few.

In the summer the resort is known for mountain biking with a long history of hosting national and world class races. In 2005 Sun Peaks completed the back nine of the 18 hole alpine golf course designed by Graham Cooke. In addition to mountain biking and golf the resort has wide a number of family activities to offer including canoeing, tennis, swimming, hiking, ATV tours,
and horseback trail rides.

With its unique curving lanes, Sun Peaks Tube Time is a ride unlike any other tube park. Located directly in front of the village, right beside the village platter, Tube Time is an easy find. All ages are welcome for this winter activity and tubes are provided by the resort.
