Adams River Salmon Society

The Adams River Salmon Society is a non-profit organization that was established in 1994.  The purpose of the society is to encourage and facilitate the education and conservation of the natural and cultural resources of Roderick Haig-Brown Provincial Park and other Shuswap area parks.  The society is an advocate for the Adams River Sockeye Run and host the Salute to the Sockeye event.  The society is dedicated to working with Aboriginals, BC Park and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada in establishing sustainable educational and recreational facilities within Roderick Haig-Brown Park.
