Sundance Guest Ranch

Just four hours by car from Vancouver, Sundance has been family-owned and operated for almost 30 years. It's an easy, laid-back kind of place, but when it comes to service, you're a welcome guest of the family - and get treated like it with warm, friendly attention.

Situated in BC's semi-arid high country, this is magnificent scenery; rolling, sagebrush-covered hills with spectacular views of the Thompson River - a genuine bit of the old West.

But riding is what we're all about! There are two rides every day, each from 2 to 2½ hours long, and we are very proud of our herd of over 100 horses! With one to suit every rider from beginner to advanced, our cowboys will help you feel tall in the saddle, even if you've never ridden before.

All accommodation is air-conditioned, with full maid service and private bathrooms. We have a large heated pool (Sundance is located in one of the sunniest spots in Canada), tennis court, BYOB adult lounge (with Saturday night dances), movie lounge and games room.

We're also very proud of our chef, who has been with us for 15 years - enjoy a delicious three-course meal in our licensed dining room with its sweeping view of the rolling pastures where our horses roam at the end of the day.
