Experience a valley full of blossoming orchards and terraced vineyards.

  • Spend the morning exploring Vernon. Visit Davison Orchards (www.davisonorchards.ca). Davison Orchards is dedicated to preserving the Okanagan Valley's agriculture heritage. The three-generation family farm, grows over twenty varieties of apples, presses farm-fresh juice, and makes old-fashioned pies, jams, and preserves. Other tree fruits and field crops including corn, tomatoes, and pumpkins are grown and sold on-site. Wagon-ride orchard tours and harvest festivities highlight the history of the area. For many of the thousands of guests hosted during the growing season, a visit to Davison Orchards is their first experience of a working farm and a taste of how food is grown!
  • Enjoy the beautiful walk to next door when you visit Planet Bee Honey Farm. Planet Bee is a working honey farm and gift shop that offers tours and tastings and an opportunity to safely observe over 10,000 honeybees working in the apiary.
